Manufactured to EN1891 Type A standards, this 12.4mm rope features a robust 16-strand polyester sheath and a torque-balanced, parallel-twist polyester core to ensure strength, flexibility, and controlled extension. Its durable construction offers excellent abrasion resistance and energy absorption, while the firm yet supple feel provides comfort and control during climbing operations. Works exceptionally well with both traditional Friction Hitches and modern Mechanical Friction Devices used predominantly used in DRT climbing systems (double rope technique).
